About Us: AdoptRescueDogs.com is a website for Coldspring STARS, a no-kill rescue located in Coldspring Texas. We also feature one of our foster facilities, Legacy Ranch, where dogs are prepared for their forever homes. Many animals come to us in poor health, and with many issues related to abuse, neglect, and abandonment by uncaring owners. In foster care, establishing a trusting relationship between dog and human is of our utmost concern. In this way, we can help to assure placement in an adoptive home that will also be a forever home. Stability in the dog's life is critical.

About Fostering:
STARS shelter is always in need of additional foster homes for its many dogs. When you foster, you are helping to prepare the dog for its forever home by loving it and caring for its needs, and doing basic training and socialization. The dog develops a trusting relationship with its human, which carries over to the adoptive home. This work is critical to the placement of our animals in loving forever homes. Fostering can be the answer to your desire to love an animal, but your inability, for whatever reason, to make a long term commitment to a new pet.
